Description:
I: Resulallah (saws), when given the choice of staying on Earth, said that he yearned for his Lord. We experience need and want, which are directed towards material things, some necessary for survival. We yearn for invisible things. But we do not yearn for Allah hu ta'ala because we are afraid. We must learn what it means to yearn for Him.
II: What does it mean to be or to become a Muslim? How do the two statements, "I witness that there is no god but God," and "I witness that Muhammad is His messenger," interact in the formation of faith? What is marriage and how can it be successful?
